Mission and Outreach - Proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Savior

European Christian Mission International (ECMI)

ECMI throughout Europe focuses on planting churches and ministering to the various needs of local congregations. In Eastern Europe, much of its work focuses on children, youth, and families, reaching out to those most affected by the destruction of their society's moral and spiritual fiber under Communism.
Building on the work of New Hope International, which became part of ECMI in 2014, the organization's focus on the youth of the region, its emphasis on enabling East Europeans to reach their countries for Christ, and its willingness to work within existing denominations have earned it the praise of religious and political leaders in post-Communist Eastern Europe. This approach has also made ECMI a major part of the re-birth and spread of Christianity in Eastern Europe and parts of the former Soviet Union. ECMI currently works in Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine and has worked in other countries of Eastern Europe such as Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.

Building spiritually strong, caring, and supportive families is at the center of ECMI's work.

Work with children, especially orphans, is a key part of ECMI's outreach in Eastern Europe.
